SHRC team raids CCB

Narendra Reddy, Srinivas, Manzoor Pasha, Babu, Aslam, Rajendra Babu, Naveen, Mahendra, Subba Reddy and Seena were released after the SHRC team was convinced that they were illegally detained.

Sources said, Naveen, a pawn broker from Yeshwanthpur, was allegedly being harassed by the CCB officials.

For the last fortnight, he was summoned four times. Naveen’s uncle Kank Lal complained to SHRC in this regard. Based on his complaint the team raided the premises. The SHRC has reportedly filed a case against the Assistant Commissioner of Police concerned and the inspector incharge.
