He was addressing a Janaspandana programme at Halasur village in Lakkavalli hobli in Tarikere taluk on Saturday.

Leaders should not politicise the Bhadra Upper Canal project.
They should work for the development of the constituency unitedly, he said. “Those hands who misled the Ajjampura movement themselves are misleading the farmers of Lakkavalli hobli now,” he alleged.
Steps have been taken to shift Somanathapur village that gets affected by flood frequently. Disciplinary action will be taken against the corrupt officials. The Halasur village will be brought under Suvarna Gramabhivruddi scheme in the days to come, the MLA said.

Gram Panchayat member Mohammed Hanif appealed the MLA to provide compensation to the farmers who have lost their paddy crops due to disease, and to release the crop insurance amount at the earliest.
Tahsildar Renukaprasad delivered an introductory address. Taluk Panchayat President Netravathi Ramesh, member Revanna, ZP member Chandramma Manjunath, Gram Panchayat President Shayida, former president Aravind, member Raja Rao and others were present.

Bonds of different schemes were distributed to various beneficiaries.
