JOIN USLikith M Bannur returned an impressive five-wicket haul as Karnataka took control of their four-day clash against Andhra in the under-16 tournament for the Vijay Merchant Trophy here on Friday.
At close on the second day, Karnataka, having managed 241 all out, had reduced Andhra to 156 for eight in 60 overs with Likith, who claimed 5/59, doing most of the damage.
Earlier, Karnataka, overnight 188/5, could add just 53 to their previous night’s total, before being all out. Kishan Bedare was the top-scorer for Karnataka with 83.
