Bharat Electronics (BEL), a public sector undertaking under the defence ministry, got a new Chairman & Managing Director S K Sharma who assumed charge from January 1, 2014.
In a statement, BEL said that Sharma who joined the company in 1978, had served in various divisions of BEL. He is also a nominee director of BEL on the boards of joint ventures of BEL, the statement added.
