A colourful occasion to remember

The Pragathi School, Whitefield celebrated Pragathi Utsav recently amidst much fanfare. Approximately 6,000 people made it for this event making it a success.

The event started with an invocation song of Lord Ganapathi and the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries of Pragathi Trust. Children presented yoga formations, which were appreciated by the audience.

It was a test of the flexibility of body and mind. B-boying also won much praise. Cultural events also included peppy numbers in all languages. The other special attractions were the yakshagana and the ‘Robo-Dance’.

Principal Rupa Murali read the annual report of the school highlighting the events. Toppers of different grades were announced. While the DJ played good music, anchoring was done by the students of different grades of the school and the PU College.
