BJP MLA abuses DC in CM's presence at public function

Harihar MLA B P Harish used singular language against DC K Aswathnarayana when he found that his name was included in the list of chief guests in the plaque unveiled to mark the works to shift Shukravara Palya village on Friday.

“As per protocol, I presided over the function. But you (DC) have put my name in the list of chief guests. Everyone knows what are you up to. Because of officials like you, the constituency was getting a bad name,” he charged in the presence of the Chief Minister.

The legislator was not willing to listen to the explanation from the official. Finally, the chief minister had to pacify the legislator and brought him on to the dais.
During his address, Harish alleged that the DC was ignoring Harihar while releasing funds for development of the constituency.
