Sindhia, who was with the JD(S) till 2004 and who quit the party over his differences with its chief H D Deve Gowda, is learnt have now mended fence with Gowda.
However, Gowda has not yet taken any final decision in this regard, sources said.
Sindhia had spoken to Gowda in this regard, before the announcement of the recent Lok Sabha elections. It was decided that Sindhia would formally join the JD(S) after the elections.
