Speaking at 522th Kanakadasa Jayanti organised by Jilla Kurubara Sangha, he said “I will try my level best to bring the problem to the notice of State and Central government. The community members are struggling to get caste certificate,” he added.
Even in Bidar and Gulbarga districts, there are some problem in including Kurba community to SC category. The problems will be discussed with the Chief Minister at the earliest. MLA Varthur Prakash said Kuruba community is the second largest community in the state. However, owing to the selfish politics, they could not come up in politics. MLA Appacchu Ranjan assured to provide site for the building of the community and release Rs 2 lakh from MLA fund.
