More than two years after he donated Rs 84,000 as financial help to the cash-strapped Janata Dal (United), former Bihar Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Tarakant Jha joined JD-U here on Wednesday.
Jha, who was earlier Chairman of the Legislative Council, is a widely respected lawyer. But he embarrassed the JD-U leaders minutes after he joined the Nitish’s pocket organisation.
Jha showered encomiums on the BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, despite well aware of the fact that the JD-U strongman abhors his Gujarat counterpart.
