WI survive Afghan scare

West Indies U-19 prevailed against Afghanistan U-19 in a close encounter to win the fifth-place semifinal playoff match at the Cricket U-19 World Cup in Dhaka on Tuesday.
After the Caribbeans were bowled out for 215, Afghanistan gave a spirited chase but just fell short of the target by nine runs.

Fabian Allen top scored for West Indies with 92.
