Salman Khurshid on Wednesday came under sharp attack from BJP which accused him of using abusive language against Narendra Modi but the Union Minister insisted that he has not said anything wrong while describing the BJP leader in the context of 2002 Gujarat riots.
Angry over Khurshid describing Modi as “impotent” in dealing with the post-Godhra riots, the BJP demanded an immediate apology from the Congress leadership.
BJP charged Congress of being “desperate and despondent” ahead of elections and said sensing defeat, ruling party leaders have resorted to use of abusive language against Modi after failing to take him on politically.
