The Karnataka Bulldozers lifted the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) Season 4 trophy for the second consecutive time.

The team, captained by Kiccha Sudeep, won against Kerala Strikers in the finals held at Hyderabad.

The hard work, determination and commitment to the sport was evident among both the teams.

The team returned to the City and wasted no time in celebrating their win with their fans.

The ‘Man of the Series’ award was bagged by Dhruva. Speaking at a press conference in the City, Sudeep said, “It is a very emotional moment for me. Being able to win this championship for the second consecutive time is a testimony to the teamwork of Karnataka Bulldozers. I dedicate this win to each and every one of my team who made it possible.”

The other members of the team were just as excited. Brand ambassador of the team, actress Suman Ranganathan who has been accompanying the team for their practise sessions and all the matches, recalled that she was witness to a really exciting game between Kerala Strikers and Karnataka Bulldozers.

She described Karnataka Bulldozers as the best team and said that the boys had worked really hard.

“Some of the matches were miracle matches. There are best and worst moments in every game but at the end of the game, the teams come together and shake hands. This is true sportsman spirit and I found that across the teams. There’s intense competition but in a healthy way,” observed Suman.

Some of the younger players of the team felt that their hard work and hours of
dedicated practice sessions had paid off.

Baazi Baskar, one of the players of the team said, “The victory has proved that we truly deserved to win. The dedication, discipline and effort has not gone in vain. We’re thrilled.”

Karthik Jayaram, a young actor, said that he was proud to be a part of the winning team.

“All the boys have done their homework and what we see is victory for the second time in a row. Being in the final for four consecutive years is a victory in itself. Sudeep has been a great leader,” explained Karthik.

Tharun Chandra, who is also a part of the team, said that the team took their job very seriously and worked extra hours to bring home the cup.

“As actors, we are not used to going out there and playing and practising for long hours but we were all focussed on winning the cup. It’s a dream come true for all us,” he said.
