The State BJP’s outreach programme wherein citizens were asked to provide inputs to the party manifesto has received 1.5 lakh responses including 20,000 online. The party is now in the process of compiling the inputs and come out with constituency-wise manifestos.
In February, party volunteers held outreach programmes under the banner “your voice our manifesto” at hundreds of locations in the State. They distributed pamphlets to the public to elicit their views on what they considered major issues. They were asked to make suggestions for a “better India” and “betterment of their constituency.” The inputs have been sent to the party headquarters in New Delhi.
