Actor and Minister for Housing, H M Ambarish, who was admitted to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore with lung infection, is said to have recovered completely.
In a video clip released to the media in Bangalore by his family on Tuesday, Ambarish thanked the people and his fans who prayed for his speedy recovery. He said he would shortly return to Karnataka as ‘Rebel Star’, as he is better known among his fans.
In the video clipping, Ambarish said he was feeling fine and thanked the people for their support.
“I thank the State government for its support, the doctors at the Vikram Hospital who took care of me during my stay there, and also my fans because of whose prayers I have been able to recover. I also thank people for respecting and loving me so much,” he said.
Dr K S Satish, chief pulmonologist, Vikram Hospital, said though Ambarish had recovered completely, doctors have advised him rest.
“He will stay at the Singapore hospital for a few more days and then return home,” he said.
