Online campaign for clean polls launched

The Grama Panchayat Hakkottaya Andolana has launched “Me and My vote are not for sale,” an online campaign here on Tuesday.

Speaking at a press conference, GPHA Director, Kavitha Ratna said, “The website http://myvoteisnotforsale.co.in/  has been launched with an intention to draw younger crowd and encourage them to vote for right candidate.

“On April 1, the supporters of our campaign will come together at Town Hall in the City to celebrate voting and its functions.”

‘Clean governance’

The objective of the campaign is to ensure clean elections and clean governance.
Awareness programmes regarding the campaign will take place at Bellary, Belgaum, Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag, Raichur, Kolar, Mysore among other districts, in the coming days, the members of Andolana said.
