Echoing her views, EKO Vehicles Executive Director Harindranath said pointed out that there were roughly about 500 e-vehicles (two-wheelers) on Indian roads before 2007-08, and then there was a jump to 1,10,000 units and 1,50,000 units during 2007-08 and 20008-09  respectively. However, the only electric car manufacturer Reva is not participating in this expo.
