Youth's body exhumed

According to Hoskote police, Narayan (25), a resident of Tavarekere, was clubbed to death by his friend Gopal Krishna and his associates on June 17. They had also snatched a gold chain and a ring from his body and hid it in their house. Later, the accused took the body out and buried it in a ground near their house due to its unbearable stench.

Recently, Gopal Krishna and his associates Mohan Kumar, Nagaraj, Puttaiah, Siddaraju, Madan, Jagadeesh, Girish and Das were arrested by the Jagjeevanramnagar police in a separate case. During interrogation, they confessed to murdering Narayan.
The body has been sent to Forensic Science Laboratory for indentification.
