Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday described Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi a “liar” for revealing his marital status now, which “he had not disclosed while filing nominations for previous polls.”
Speaking to mediapersons, the chief minister said that Modi had confirmed his marital status by disclosing the name of his wife in the nomination papers which he filed at Vadodara on Wednesday.
Reiterating that he had not called Modi “Narahantaka” (mass murderer), Siddaramaiah said that he had only recalled the chronology of events of the post-Godhra riots, which claimed 2,000 lives.
