<p>Indians crashed out of the individual rounds of both recurve and compound sections in the ongoing Archery World Cup Stage I in Shanghai on Thursday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to information received here, Abhishek Verma, Rajat Chauhan and Trisha Deb made pre-quarterfinal exits in the compound section, while in recurve Jayant Talukdar, Viswash and Lavanya Nomula bowed out in the last-32 round.<br /><br />Verma and Jyoti Surekha have made the bronze medal play-off in the compound mixed event, while the men’s team has grabbed pole in the recurve section.<br /><br />The duo will face the French pair of Pierre Julien Deloche and Sophie Dodemont in the battle for the third place.<br /><br />World No 3 Deepika Kumari, who failed to make the India squad from the trials, was sorely missed as Indian women archers put up an unispiring show.<br /><br />In the men’s section, barring Jayanta and Viswas, who qualified fifth, none of the others could put up a promising show.</p>
