RGUHS to hold PGET 2010 on February 7

  The test will be conducted at two new centres - Mangalore and Davanagere.

Vice-Chancellor of the RGUHS Ramanand Shetty told Deccan Herald that the two new centres were added after reviewing candidate statistics. “Our statistics showed that there were more candidates from Mangalore and Davanagere than other parts which is why PGET 2010 will be conducted at the two additional centres,” he said.  Besides the two new centres, the test will also be conducted at Bangalore, Mysore, Hubli-Dharwad and Bellary.

The University has already begun the distribution of admission tickets to students who have already applied. However, candidates can still apply ebfore the deadline of December 31. Candidates applying by post are expected to send the relevant documents by December 21. The details of the entrance test are available on the website http://www.rguhs.ac.in/.
Further, the Vice-Chancellor said the varsity was considering conducting the examination on a separate date for Government Doctors who would be busy working on February 7 that also  happens to be the Pulse Polio Day.
