<p>There is a need for engineering graduates to develop creativity, a culture of excellence and learn the integrated system design to excel in the present era of global competition, said the former president of India, APJ Abdul Kalam, in his inaugural address to the annual day celebrations of AMC–CITY Group of Institutions on Friday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>He spoke on the role of the youth in nation building and stressed on the need for technical educational institutions to train engineering students to do their best. K R Paramahamsa, chairman of AMC-CITY Group of Institutions, T N Sreenivasa, principal, AMC Engineering College, P Srinivas Rao, principal, Administrative Management College, were present at the event.</p>
