<p>Hari Kumar, 52, civil engineer, hung himself at his residence in Udayanagar on Friday night. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Married to Vani, an assistant professor in a City college, he had a son, and was working in Saudi Arabia. <br /><br />The couple would quarrel and after one such squabble on Friday, he shut himself in his room. <br /><br />Assuming he had gone to sleep, his wife did not disturb him. <br /><br />However, when she went to check on him through the window, she found him hanging from the ceiling, police said. <br /><br />Student commits suicide<br /><br />In another incident, Ramya, 17, daughter of parents who were labourers, hung herself at his residence in Bairaveshwaranagar on Saturday morning, dejected at not being ableto clear her SSLC exams. <br /><br />She took her life when her parents were away at work. <br /><br />The incident came to light when the mother returned home for lunch and found her daughter hanging looking through the window. <br /><br />The body was sent for post-mortem. <br /><br />In the death note, she has stated she is solely responsible for her action.<br /><br />Miscreants rob man<br /><br />Narayanaswamy, 32, a resident of Arekere, was robbed of cash and mobile phone by three unidentified miscreants while he was waiting for his brother to fetch fuel for his bike, near Bilekahalli. <br /><br />While returning home after visiting his brother's house in Bilekhalli, his bike had run out of fuel near Vijaya Bank Colony. <br /><br />He called up his brother to fetch fuel in a bottle.Before the brother arrived, three unidentified people, on two-wheeler, finding Nararyanswamy alone, threatened him before making away with Rs 14,000 cash and mobile phone, police said.<br /><br />The brothers lodged a complaint with the police, following which a hunt has been launched to nab the culprits. <br /><br /></p>
