<p>BJP prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi may have avoided the contentious Ram Temple issue at his election rally in Faizabad on Monday, but a banner on the stage backdrop depicting a model of it, along with a picture of Lord Ram, has landed him in trouble.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Modi in his speech, however, did refer to “Ram Rajya”, which he said even Mahatma Gandhi endorsed as “an answer to the problems of the people”.<br /><br />The stage banner invited the wrath of the Election Commission (EC), which has sought a report from the district magistrate of Faizabad, according to sources here.<br />Modi later addressed election rallies at Ambedkar Nagar, Jaunpur and Amethi.</p>
