10-man ADE stun BFC

 Playing with ten-men, Aeronautical Development Establishment defeated Bengaluru Football Club 1-0 in the BDFA’s Super Division Football League at the Bangalore Football Stadium on Thursday.

ADE’s Karthik, who was on a yellow card after a foul on Karan Sawhney, got his second yellow from referee Vijayakumar for a rough tackle on Vishal Kumar in the 32nd minute.Despite the setback, ADE played with determination to frustrate BFC, who again fielded their colts. Unable to make an impact, BFC suffered a blow just before half-time when Rajkiran struck for ADE.

ADE then protected that 45th minute strike with zeal in the second half to come out victors.

In the ‘A’ Division league, Students Union defeated Bangalore United Football Club 2-1.Mitesh put Students ahead in the 12th minute but a 30th minute goal by Clivert brought BUFC level.

In the second half, Abubacker’s goal in the 75th minute powered the Students ahead. The score remained that way till the final whistle, as Students took home three points.Friday’s matches: 

‘A’ Division: Postal vs SAI (2.00 pm). Super Division: HAL vs RWF (4.00 pm).
