The growing importance accorded to trade and development in Bangalore has been instrumental in this decision, stated a release issued by the Consulate. The Consulate is located at No 4, Haudin Road, near Ulsoor Lake, Ulsoor, Bangalore.
The release said that several successful joint projects in the fields of Information Technology, Renewable Energy, Education, Culture, Economy and Tourism have strengthened the bond between Spain and India.
The Consulate, however, will not issue visas. The visa section of the Spanish General Consulate in Mumbai is being reinforced for this purpose, the release added.
