ADE close in on title

Aeronatical Developmental Establishment (ADE) are just a point away from winning the BDFA Super Division after mowing RWF 4-1 here at the Bangalore Football Stadium on Monday. 

They will be crowned champions if avoid defeat against ASC on Wednesday. On 16 points with just two games remaining for every team, ADE are six points in front of both South United (GD of +4) and CIL (GD of +1).

Having won four out of their five games, ADE started the match as firm favourites and the final scoreline reflected their superiority. 

After Deepak opened the floodgates with a long range curler in the 24th minute, Jaivandan doubled the lead two minutes later from the penalty spot after Azhar Jamal had tripped Kavi Arasan in the area. 

RWF pulled a goal back through Prakash in the 67th minute but ADE’s offensive play wasn’t done yet and they restored the two goal cushion through Deepak in the 86th minute. 

Dany Chiru added the icing on the cake in the first minute of second half injury time. On Tuesday, former champions HASC take on Jawahar Union in the Super Division, while Bangalore Kickers face off against ‘A’ Division leaders DYES.
