Vaania Kapoor powered her way to win in the girls’ Group III 200M Individiual medley in the State Sub-Junior and Junior Aquatic Championships at the Dolphin Aquatic centre here on Thursday.
Vaania stopped the clock at 2:37.03, while her team-mates at BAC Khushi Dinesh (2:51.66) and Poojitha Murthy (3:03.19) ended up second and third.
Simran Mungekar of BAC won the the 800M freestyle (Girls Group I) with a timing of 10:03.73.
Joan Deepak of Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre won the girls’ 50M freestyle with a time of 30.21 while Avani Tantry of PMSC came second in 30.46.
