The Wilson Garden police have arrested nine persons from Electronics City in connection with the murder of Srinivas, a habitual offender, on June 15.
The arrested are Manjunath, 21, Lawrence, 20, Parashuram, 24, Sujith, 21, Ganesh, Rajesh, Shiva, Shravan and Sunil, all 22. All of them are habitual offenders.
Five more suspects are absconding and the police are looking for them. They analysed the mobile phone call records and footage in the CCTV near the crime spot to zero in on the suspects.
Srinivas alias Seena was hacked to death by the 14 of them in public glare with assault weapons over old rivalry.
Manjunath had been attacked by Srinivas and his friends a few days back. To avenge this, Manjunath and his associates murdered Srinivas, it is said.
