<p>An undertrial died after he fell down from the second floor of an under-construction building inside the Central Prison at Parappana Agrahara on Tuesday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The victim was identified as Thayappa, a resident of Mattikere. He was arrested on the charge of strangling his wife Basamma on June 20. The authorities have taken up a project to construct a new building inside the Central Prison. Thayappa went there and was soon found lying on the ground. <br /><br />Nobody knows how the incident occurred. It is yet to be ascertained whether it was a suicide or murder, said the police. He was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on the way, the police said.</p>
