Jagapathi's City connection

BACK AGAIN

"I generally don’t attend any social gatherings or movie functions. Believe it or not, I haven't even attended my own movie functions,” says Jagapathi, who recently came to attend Sudeep’s music launch of Just Maath Maathalli. So why the exception this time? “It’s for a friend,” he says while adding, “I met Sudeep through my ‘hero’ Ram Gopal Varma and we got along very well. It’s really nice to find such a good friend in such a short time.”
But the City and Jagapathi go way back in time, and the connection is definitely not a filmi one. “Actually I had my first official date out in the City. I was 23-years-old at the time and it turned out to be a special day for me,” he says coyly without revealing too many details.
