VTU proposes centres of excellence

The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) on Friday signed an MoU with Rapid Global Business Solutions Inc (RGBSI).

The MoU speaks of setting up of Industry Institute Partnership and Centres of Excellence including, one Center of Excellence in Quality Lifecycle Management, in all the affiliated colleges of VTU.

Principals of several engineering colleges across Karnataka attended the event held in the City. Last week, the university had signed an MoU with International Institute of Industrial Safety Management, Bangalore, to promote industrial safety standards by offering a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety Management (PGDISM).
