Addressing the reporters, on Monday he said that the programme will be held successfully and committees have been constituted for the same.

He said that District-in-Charge and Minister for Energy K S Eshwarappa will inaugurate the programme on December 22 in the presence of Minister for Youth Affair and Sports Gulihatti D Shekar and MP D V Sadananda Gowda. As many as 17 competitions including classical dance, folk dance, folk songs, mime etc will be held. Over 1,000 participants from various parts of the state are expected to take part in the programme. District Adult Education Department Assistant Director B V Vishwanath and Tahshildar Renuka Prasad were present.
