Jupiter CA emerge champions

 In a direct shoot-out for the title between Cavaliers Cricket Club and Jupiter Cricket Association, the latter managed a narrow two-wicket win in a low-scoring thriller here

.

The win not only helped Jupiter tie on points with Cavaliers but also emerge champions in the KSCA Group I, Division III league for the Nassur Memorial Shield.

At the completion of 11 league matches, both teams finished with 32 points each but a better net run-rate of 1.37 helped Jupiter pip Cavaliers (1.07) for the crown. 

Cavaliers were all out for 90 in 41 overs, with B A Vinay claiming five wickets for 17. Jupiter too lost quick wickets but Mithun’s 31 proved crucial as they reached 91 for eight in 21.3 overs.
