Rajnath seeks media help

A day after the Prime Minister’s Office’s denial on a rift in the Central government, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday sought media’s help in tracing those, who were spreading rumours against his family members.

“You (media) are investigative journalists....find out who are behind the rumours,” Singh quipped on being asked about the media reports about his son Pankaj Singh being snubbed by the prime minister for “inappropriate political behaviour”.

The minister appeared to be upset and tried to evade the media queries. Singh was here on a day-long visit to launch the Prime Minister’s Jan Dhan Yojna.  Singh said the scheme would prove to be historical and would benefit the poor and marginal people.
