JOIN USHe said that a mass prayer on midnight of December 24 marks the celebration of birth of Jesus across the world and Christmas is a festival which is celebrated by all people irrespective of caste, creed and other differences.
Pope Benedict XXVI has declared June 2009 to June 2010 as the ‘year of Catholic Priests’, who live and follow the life of Jesus by serving man kind and by upholding sacrifice.
He informed that there are large number of priests and sisters from 158 churches of Mangalore diocese and other churches.
He called upon them to work in harmony with each other towards their goal and take India on path of progress and development.
