M S Ramaiah Hospital's new facility

Briefing mediapersons here on Wednesday, Dr D C Sundaresh, Associate Dean, M S Ramaiah, as part of the modernisation, the outpatient and in-patient services, the ICUs, operation theatres and radiology-diagnostic services were all equipped with new state-of-the-art equipment and housed in a totally refurbished building.

The modernised hospital will provide 24-hour ambulance services, an artificial limb centre, medical physiotherapy service, 12 fully modernised and fully equipped operation theatres, 60 adult ICU beds and 20 pediatric and neonatal ICUs. The other facilities include 24-hour heart dialysis and ultra modern MRI. Dr Sundaresh, Associate Dean, M S Ramaiah, said the hospital tariffs are kept low to meet the health needs of the people who are below poverty line as per the cards.
