This was Reddy's reaction against party MLAs and MPs coming out in the open on Friday lambasting the chief minister for inducting MP Renukacharya into the Cabinet and sidelining seniors and loyal MLAs and MPs.

Speaking to the media at Moka in Bellary taluk on Saturday, where he had gone to inspect the bridge which collapsed on Friday, the minister who himself had raised a banner of revolt against the chief minister some time ago, however, refused to comment on the induction of Renukacharya into the State Cabinet stating that it was the chief minister’s prerogative.

Resentment
Nevertheless, he said senior MPs like Appachhu Ranjan and Ramesh Jigajinagi and MLA S I Chakkangoudar had expressed their resentment. Thereby, there was a need to address their grievances. There was a need to respect the sentiments of senior elected representatives, he added. "And the chief minister should take a correct decision in this regard," he advised.

Even the party national leadership which is watching the unfolding of events in Karnataka should take a good decision, he said.
