As part of a contest by a popular radio station, the winners were driven around in an auto rickshaw by the actor in a few places around the city.

The event was more like a promotional activity for Yash’s latest flick, Kallara Santhe.
Yash, who plays the role of an auto rickshaw driver in Kallara Santhe, was happy enough to take the three lucky winners, all girls, for a round in the auto.
Yash said, “Auto rickshaw is one of the cultural symbols of Bangalore and I am proud to have become a part of the City’s culture. It feels good to make someone happy, even if it means driving an auto.”

He added, “I didn’t know that I had so many female fans. I heard that during the contest, there was a big queue of girls, wanting to
go for a ride with me.”

Three girls made it to the finals of this contest and Yash was supposed to pick one out of the three finalists.

However, big-hearted Yash said that he did not want to disappoint any of them by picking out one and took all three girls for a ride.
Divya, one of the winners said, “I have been a great fan of Yash since his television days. I used to watch Preethi Illada Mele just to get a glimpse of him. It’s like a dream come true to have met him.”

Two more auto rickshaws escorted the auto which was driven by Yash.
He also wore the khaki shirt, which is the uniform of the auto rickshaw drivers and drove the auto sportively.
Shobitha, another winner said, “I am thrilled about the fact that I am going for a ride in an auto with Yash as the driver.”
