<p> The Legislature Committee on Women and Child Development has sought a report from the Home department on the recent sexual assault on a three-year-old girl at the Orchids The International School here. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The committee has asked the department to submit the report by November 6, its chairperson Shakuntala Shetty told reporters here on Thursday. <br /><br />There has been public outcry over the sexual assault on the toddler, a student of the nursery class at the international school at Jalahalli, on Tuesday. <br /><br />Rashmi incident<br /><br />Shetty said the committee had also sought a report regarding the recent assault on Rashmi V Mahesh, the director general of Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Mysore, who was attacked by a group of former contract employees of the institute. <br /><br />“The committee condemns the incident and has sought a comprehensive report,” Shakuntala Shetty said. <br /><br />Earlier, Shakuntala Shetty and a few members of the committee met Legislative Assembly Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa at the latter’s chambers in the Vidhana Soudha and held discussions with him. <br /></p>
