Mobile app for women and child safety

Milan Infotech Private Limited has come out with a mobile application, Click4Help, designed for the safety of women and children. The free for all application will be launched on November 15.

 “The App will be first launched in Bangalore South- Jayanagar and then by November 20, it will be launched across Bangalore. It will be launched across Karnataka by the end of month. After Nirbhaya (Delhi gang rape incident), we wanted to ensure that women are safe and can reach out to their dear ones and the police at the click of a button. Currently the app will be provided on all Android phones and will be gradually extended to all IOS, Windows, Blackberry and even normal phones,” said Basavaraj M C, the CEO of the firm.

The users can press the power button to call out for help from family members. The police control room and Hoysala vehicles will also be connected to immediately. The exact location of the app can also be known from the app, which is linked to police servers across Karnataka. 

The police will get real time data about the prevalence of crime in various places and will be able to send the nearest patrolling vehicle at the earliest, he added.
