<p>The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to former Telecom Minister Dayanidhi Maran, his brother Kalanidhi and other accused in the Aircel-Maxis case to appear before it to record their statements.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The notices were issued under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). On Wednesday, a Delhi court had asked Marans and other accused to appear before it on March 2 next year after taking cognizance of a charge sheet filed by the CBI in the Aircel-Maxis case.<br /><br />The ED may issue notice to attach assets worth around Rs 742 crore, which the CBI alleged, was given as bribe to Maran. <br /><br />However, officials said, before moving ahead with attachment, they would want to get the side of Marans and other accused.</p>
