A private travel agency in Seshadripuram was raided by police recently, after a few people posted a complaint about it on social media.

The complaint stated that the agency had duped more than 1,400 customers by promising to take them on a tour of North India. According to preliminary police investigation, the agency owner, Jagadish Kumar Shah, had promised around 1,400 people a trip across North India and collected several lakhs of rupees.

Each time customers approached him about the schedule, he was evasive in his reply. He then absconded with the money, following which the customers posted a complaint on social media, leading to the police raid. A case has been registered and the police are on the lookout for the accused.
