Housing Minister Ambareesh has demanded that the State government take him into confidence, before announcing the list of chairpersons to boards and corporations.
Speaking to press persons during a private visit here, he said he was not demanding the posts for his supporters, but for “honest members of the Congress party.”
Expressing his dissatisfaction over the issue, he said it did not matter whether Chief Minister Siddaramaiah consulted other leaders regarding appointments. “But, he should consult me before the list is announced,” he said.
He warned of consequences, if his recommendations are not considered.
