Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP for failing to deliver poll promises and endorsing divisive politics in the country.
He was speaking here at an event that marked the culmination of Janapaksha Yatra, a state-wide support mobilisation rally led by Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee chief V M Sudheeran.
He said the central idea of the BJP-led government was to take power away from the people, have communities fight and run the country in the interest of a few corporates.
“What has the BJP done since getting the people’s mandate? They’ve ensured that wherever there’s an election, there is violence between communities.”
