Concerts in store


Described as an ‘extraordinarily multi-talented American musician and scholar’ who possesses an ‘irresistible creative force’, pianist Nancy Lee Harper has given concerts and
master classes on four continents in prestigious institutions as Juilliard and Eastman Schools of Music.

She has recorded several world premiere recordings, including works written for her and loves teaching at all levels. She is the author of several books and more than 70 articles in scientific journals and encyclopedia.

The programme will include Classical European masterpieces. Donation Cards are available at Alliance Francaise and the BSM. There will also be a lyric opera concert by Marion Baglan (France) on January 8, 7.30 pm at the Alliance Francaise.

Marion Baglan is a soprano who turned to a solo career after her debut I the Chorus of the Opera de Tours in 1998.  Marion has performed at the Petit Trianon, at the Palace of Versailles and in Lahore and Karachi in Pakistan. In India, she will be accompanied by renowned French pianist Francois Juskowiak. The programme includes French operatic arias and melodies.
