The strongest message that Archbishop Bernard Moras wants to send out to people this Christmas is to shun the attitude of ‘I’ ‘Me’ ‘Myself.

“People must stop saying ‘this is my house, my party and my space’. This Christmas, it pays to be accommodative and more tolerant towards one another rather than stay selfish and self-centered,” explains Archbishop Bernard Moras.

He feels mankind must work towards spreading goodness rather than animosity. “Would so many innocent children be gunned down in Pakistan for no fault of theirs had there been more love, understanding, peace and goodwill among people? We must learn to love one another and work towards being a more secular country,” explains Archbishop Bernard Moras.  He feels people of all faiths must come together to work towards preserving, respecting and guarding the secular fabric of India.

Ask the Archbishop what excites him the most during Christmas and he says with a bright smile, “I am overwhelmed when I see the vibrant faith among the people. The energy among them is infectious.”

He hopes this Christmas will bring people of all faith, caste and creed together to build a stronger and more powerful nation and this feels is possible only when there is peace, love and understanding.
