Prakash in, Yuki out

While Prakash Amritraj made it to the main draw, a limping Yuki Bhambri crashed out after losing his final qualifying match at the Nungabakkam Tennis stadium.

Amritraj was stretched in the first set before prevailing over German Lars Poerschke 7-6 (7-5), 6-3, while Yuki, who barely managed to move towards the end of the match because of an injured ankle, lost to Ireland’s Louk Sorensen 2-6, 7-6 (10-8), 6-2.
