Sanjay Dutt tense as govt decides to probe his furloughs

Sanjay Dutt, who is currently out of Yerwada jail on a 14 day furlough, is a tense man. He is keeping a low profile as the Maharashtra government is looking into his repeated reprieves.

As quoted in Deccan Chronicle, a close friend of Sunjay Dutt said, "Salman Khan was very keen on inviting Sanju to his week-long birthday bash. But considering the present scenario, the Dutt family has decided that Sanju will stay home. Only selected friends would be allowed to visit."

Speculation is rife that Dutt has been given the furlough to celebrate new year with his family, who want Sanjay to keep a low profile and not do anything to compromise his time outside the jail.

Sources also say that the Dutt family is consciously trying to avoid another incident similar to one in May 2014 when Dutt was granted parole on the gounds of his wife's illness.

A leaked MMS showed Sanjay Dutt in an inebriated state, talking unabashedly about people in the film industry.
