Chinthamani Sports Association scripted a 42-run victory over Cambridge Cricket Club to emerge champions in the KSCA Group I Division IV tournament for Metro Shield here.

In the two-day final played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, a batting collapse in the second innings cost Cambridge Cricket Club dear.

In reply, half-centuries from Chetan Williams (80), Raghavnedra (59) and Shivakumar (67), Cambridge CC posted a strong 323 for six to take a first innings lead of 115 runs.
In their second essay, Chinthamani batsmen managed 206 with Nidhuvan (62) leading the way.

Set a modest target of 91, Cambridge CC were bundled out for a paltry 49 in 14. 5 overs.
