CM orders suspension of three cops

 
The CM has instructed the Dharwad SP to suspend head constable B Y Bharamagowdru, constables M V Koppad and K M Nadaf.

The farmers were staging a hunger strike in the prison and fell ill on Monday, when the three policemen handcuffed them and took them to the hospital. When this was brought to the notice of the Chief Minister in Bangalore on Tuesday, Yeddyurappa said there was no need to handcuff them and asked the Dharwad SP to initiate disciplinary action.
